The M.P.H.S. is a limited release wine, made only in exceptional years, it is made in tribute to Alto's previous winemakers, whose initials make up the name; Manie Malan, Piet du Toit, Hempies du Toit and Schalk van der Westhuizen.
The 2017 is a blend of the very best parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon (90%) & Cabernet Franc (10%), it is a wine that truly encapsulates the best of this vintage as well as our terroir of excellence.
The M.P.H.S. 2017 was awarded with a Master Medal, scoring between 97 to 100 points at the Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters 2024.
